SIMPLE PRESENT simple facts - "The sky is blue." "It is 3 o'clock."
general statements with frequency adverbs - always, never, usually, etc.
*non-action verbs - like, love, hate, see, hear, smell, look, want, need, cost, etc.
NOTE: some of these verbs can be action verbs in some situations!
PRESENT PROGRESSIVE action happening now - right now / today / these days / etc.
