APPLICATION INFORMATION     Please read.

WHAT TO SEND after you complete the online application on the next page:
--Letter of Financial Support

--Application Fee of $125 (non-refundable)  You can pay online after you complete the application form, or you can send payment.

--Copy of Passport

Send application materials to the center you wish to attend (addresses are here). Make checks payable to Spring International Language Center. Spring will send a Form I-20 and letter of admission upon acceptance. Please bring transcripts of high school and college/university classes if you are planning to continue academic study in the United States.

VISAS
Upon receipt of the application materials, Spring International will issue an I-20 Certificate of Eligibility Form which the student can present to the U.S. Consulate/Embassy to obtain an F-1 Student Visa.

LETTER OF ACADEMIC ADMISSIBILITY
Students in need of a letter of academic admissibility may submit their records for review for possible admission to a university. If, after review of their records, they are found to be academically qualified, they can be issued a Letter of Academic Admissibility. To apply for such a letter, please send the following in addition to the three items listed above:

--Two official copies of secondary or university transcripts with certified English translations attached.

--Copies of standardized test results, such as TOEFL and GMAT, if available.

ATTENDANCE
Spring International Language Center would like you to benefit as much as possible from your English classes. Therefore, you will be expected to attend classes full time (23 hours per week). We expect students to attend regularly and to abide by the school Attendance Policy.

HEALTH INSURANCE
All students are required to have health insurance while attending Spring International.
Students will be required to purchase the insurance provided by Spring International unless they present proof of other insurance coverage at registration.

OTHER EXPENSES
Students should expect to spend approximately $400 per month for miscellaneous expenses, including local transportation, shopping, laundry, recreation, etc. Some student activities require a fee.

SERVICES INCLUDED IN THE TUITION
In addition to the cost of classroom instruction, the tuition includes the following services: airport pick-up, homestay placement, international student advising, and assistance with college and university placement.

PAYMENT DEADLINES
All fees are due and payable at registration on or before the first day of the term. Payment of fees must be made by the end of the first week of the term. Students who pay after the first week of the term will be charged a late payment fee of $100.

AIRPORT PICK-UP
Spring International will arrange to meet you at the airport upon arrival. Please notify our office of your arrival time at least two weeks before arrival. There is no charge for this service.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT
Students must be at least 16 years of age to enroll at the Littleton Center, 17 at the Denver Center, and 18 at the Arkansas Center.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Tuition and fees are payable on or before the first day of the term. If a student decides to withdraw during the term, he/should inform the school in writing of the day of withdrawal. Refunds are based on the last day of attendance and will be issued within 30 days from this date. There will be no refunds for students who are terminated due to violation of the SILC’s written disciplinary and/or attendance policies or local, state, or federal law. When calculating the number of weeks completed, a partial week will be counted as a whole week, provided the student was present at least one day during the scheduled week. Spring International Language Center follows the refund policy outlined below:

1. In all cases, the application fee is not refundable.
2. If a student is denied a visa, a full refund of tuition and fees paid will be made.
3. For students who withdraw at any point during the first half of the nine-week term, SILC will retain the prorated amount of tuition for four weeks and will refund the remaining tuition to the student.
4. Students who withdraw after the first half of the 9-week term will receive no refund.
5. For students who enroll for a subsequent term and withdraw before or at the midpoint of that term, SILC will retain a prorated amount of tuition up to the midpoint. For students who withdraw after the midpoint of any subsequent term, SILC will retain all of the tuition for that term.
